About This Tour

The classic Cappadocia tour, the one to do if you only have one day. We start with the panoramic view of Uçhisar Castle, the highest inhabited rock in the region, then head down to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a group of rock-cut churches with Byzantine frescoes, protected by UNESCO since 1985. We continue to Love Valley, with its most photographed fairy chimneys, and have lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, Avanos and its pottery: in this town on the banks of the Kızılırmak river, red clay has been worked since Hittite times, and you'll see the kick wheel in a demonstration. We finish in Devrent Valley — the “valley of imagination”, with rocks shaped like animals — and in Paşabağ, the Monks' Valley, with its three-capped chimneys.

A shared regular tour in English, with a licensed guide, entrance tickets, lunch and pickup from your hotel.
