It depends on your nationality. Citizens of the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and most EU countries can currently visit Türkiye without a visa for tourism, for up to 90 days (generally within any 180-day period). Other nationalities may need a visa, in many cases an e-Visa that you apply for online on the official website (www.evisa.gov.tr). Your passport must be valid for at least 150 days from the day you arrive. Rules can change, so check the e-Visa website and your government's travel advice before you travel.

You can visit Türkiye all year round, but the best times are:
• April–June: spring, pleasant temperatures and fewer crowds.
• September–November: golden autumn, ideal for Cappadocia and the coast.
• December–February: Istanbul at its most atmospheric in winter, with lower prices.
Summer (July–August) is hot but perfect for the Turquoise Coast.

Yes, Türkiye is a very safe country for tourists. The main tourist areas (Istanbul, Cappadocia, the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts) are safe and welcoming, and the country receives more than 50 million international visitors a year. The official currency is the Turkish lira (TRY). Euros and US dollars are accepted in some tourist areas, but usually at a poor rate. I recommend changing money at exchange offices (döviz) or paying by debit or credit card, which are accepted almost everywhere; if a card machine or ATM offers to charge you in your own currency, choose lira. Yes. I only run private tours: it's just you and your travel companions, with a flexible itinerary, your own pace and the dates that suit you best. I don't organise group departures with strangers, because a trip is far more enjoyable when it adapts to you, not the other way round.

Each tour details exactly what is included, but in general: accommodation in hand-picked hotels, breakfasts, transfers, an English-speaking guide, entrance tickets to monuments and the activities in the programme. Domestic flights and some meals depend on the tour. Anything that is NOT included is always clearly stated.

Of course! All the published tours are templates that can be adapted. You can add days, change hotels, and remove or add activities. Tell me what you like and I'll tailor it to you, no problem.

I recommend booking at least 2–3 months ahead for the high season (April–October). In the low season, one month is usually enough. The sooner you book, the better the availability of hotels and good-value domestic flights.

It's simple: a 30% deposit to confirm your booking and the balance 31 days before departure (if you book 30 days or less before departure, you pay in full on confirmation). We accept bank transfer and credit card (+3% surcharge). Everything is documented and transparent.

It depends on how far ahead of departure you cancel:
• More than 90 days before departure: only the handling fee and any penalties charged for flights and services already issued.
• 90 to 61 days: 25% of the total price.
• 60 to 31 days: 50% of the total price.
• 30 days or less, and no-shows: 100% of the total price.
Reducing the number of travellers counts as a partial cancellation and follows the same scale.
